Rusev will defend the United States Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 31.
Originally, the self-proclaimed “hero of the Russian federation”
refused the rematch, after defeating Cena at last month’s WWE's PPV Fastlane. However, Cena had other things in mind and on RAW confronted Rusev on his way to the ring and said that if he speaks a single word against USA then Cena will bring hell upon him on RAW. After defeating Axel in a single sided quick match Rusev did what he was expected to do and then Cena stormed the ring
and put Rusev in an STF, the “Ravishing Russian” Lana grabbed a
microphone and agreed to the WrestleMania match on behalf of the
unconscious champion. Later in the backstage we got to see the disappointment of the Russian United States Champion on Lana.
